Regular Social Evening?

Anybody fancy having a regular social evening for all members? I was thinking what about THE LAST SUNDAY IN EVERY MONTH. Just meeting at a pub for some drinks and a catch up? We have swim training 6-7pm Sunday so what about 7:45pm at Old Brown Jug, Newcastle? They have live music later on too for anyone wanting to stay a little later.
Just a thought - let me know what you think. If anyone is up for it, this Sunday is the last Sunday of the month! Cool

Thought the current one was a bit slow on the up take so thought i'd give her a chuck. I've heard she's very good though!! Wink

I do agree i have been neglecting my role lately.
But now im back and think its a good idea to have regular socials.
Just need people to pull their fingers out, get on here and leave there comments.

Yeah course! they got salt and vinegar, beef , cheese and oinon or some pork scratchings if you've worked really hard at training lol!

Can't believe I put this post and am double booked for this Sunday!! Since Ju and Ken can make 6th, shall we change date to FIRST Sunday in every month? Selfish reasons Really as it means I can still go! Embarassed

Yo folks, glad yesterday's social didn't go ahead(!), I was in t'Lakes on a stag weekend so would have missed out. I could be tempted out next Sunday though, I presume folk turn up after swimming at Fenton?

I will do my best but this Sunday is my birthday so might be tricky - as I should be being spoilt by my significant other and my little girl - I will try to drop in.
